Who We Are

Company History

Miguel A. Figueroa was born in Guatemala and has resided with his family in the South Bay since he immigrated to the U.S. in the 1980s. Living out the ‘American Dream' he saw the deep need for financial & tax counseling services that the Hispanic population living in Wilmington and surrounding South Bay cities were experiencing. Miguel graduated with an accounting degree in his home country from the Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Commerciales, which instilled in him the curiosity of how he could use this knowledge to help his community.

After attending a series of courses to become a licensed tax preparer. In 1989, he started an Income Tax office with the help of his family out of his small apartment on Wilmington Blvd. With no advertising budget and only word-of-mouth, his clientele outgrew his small apartment office and he moved next door to an office space, where he continues to operate from.

Miguel and his dedicated team have a progressive view and believe that all American taxpayers are entitled to a respectful, honest, and no hassle service to file their taxes. He continues to educate himself and his team with new IRS information on a year round basis and updating his office to provide quality service. Currently, he is dedicating himself to become an IRS-Enrolled Agent so that he can further help the community.
